eMD Live has uniquely positioned itself to be a turn key solution to our LTACH partners. Given recent CMS tightening its criteria for LTACH admission. Under the new policy, long-term acute care facilities will be paid at the full Medicare prospective rate only for patients who spend at least three days in an ICU and four days on a ventilator. As a result, the current LTACH patient population require specialized care. eMD Live has specialist on Demand who can remotly provide care, barring the necessity for emergent transfers.
